Default Problems with my RR 1999: 4.0L, Bosch.

I am new in this forum and I really need help with my car, I am driving Range Rover 1999 – 4.0 L and below is my serious problem any help pls:

1.)Back wiper works but, the nozzle WON’T SPRAY WATER.

2.)Key problems: won’t open the doors from far as remote won't work also, trigger alarm and LOCKED THE ENGINE. I replaced with the newer driver's door latch. Still remote key won't work at all, at the moment l am locking and unlocking with my key.

3.)Dash board lights are dead… ONLY THE ODOMETER WORKS but, CAN NOT SEE THE NUMBERS/MILES.

4.)Water problems: water gets in the car on both sides all the way down in the floor… I changed the sunroof the whole panel and cleaned the 4 drains but, still AFTER CAR WASH or HEAVY RAIN, WATER ON THE FLOOR: ONLY FRONT sides (DRIVER’S AND PASSENGER).

Thank you all for your help.

2.) Sounds like you need a new driver's door latch to address your security system problem. The uses the door latch internal electrical switch to sync the key remote to the BeCM. This will allow the engine to mobilize or become unlocked. Be careful doing this job yourself. The exterior door handle is easily damaged

Did you check where the drains exit the body. Agree with above, those handles are fragile, and you need someone to read the BeCm codes. It's located under the passenger seat and could have been damaged from water ingress.

1.) Anybody knows where I can send my BeCm to be checked or replaced (programmed/fully done etc)? For the Range Rover 1999 – 4.0 L.

2.) Also, I am looking to buy both sunroof drain tubes, front only. Any idea where to buy?

Thanks in advance.

There's a guy on this forum parting out a 99' RR. He just posted today from Scottsdale,AZ. Try and get the instrument cluster, BeCM, ECM and all the remotes with the steering column lock cylinder and driver's door handle. ( if they are in good working condition). Using all these components from a donor vehicle will by-pass the need of repairing a BeCM and programming it, plus the remotes will work with the lock cylinders
