Default Range Rover classic LWB not starting

My Rangie has been ever faithful until recently when it started taking two three attempts to start as if it wasn't getting fuel. I changed the fuel filter and now it won't start all. Checked fuel pressure and it is adequate, when I checked the coil wire it had a intermittent spark. So I changed the plugs, wires, rotor, dist cap, and ignition coil. She still fails to start? Any suggestions?

I don't have much experience with the classic, I might suspect the EFI is malfunctioning though... Here is a neat little site for Classic Rangies, you might find it helpful. Range Rover Remedies

Well after a few more accessory replacements I'm up and running again. I changed out the electric module piggy backed off the distributor, and the magnetic pick-up. So after all the attempted starts I burned up my starter, so after finally replacing the starter I'm back out on the trail.

You may want to relocate the amplifier from the distributor to some place not so hot.

ICM

Land Rover made a kit to do this, but it's expensive.

I did see a few kits online to relocate the module. It is in a precarious place for heat and located directly under the upper radiator hose. I did notice a pin hole leak off of a vulcanized temp sensor on the upper hose that soaked the module and probably fried it.
