Does anyone have any experience with replacing the decals on the hood and rear hatch. I am getting some paint work done and will need to replace the decals. I have seen some on ebay for a reasonable price. Has anyone bought these? The OEM ones are so overpriced ($200.00) and I can't imagine they are any better. Just looking for a little feedback on this. Thanks in advance.

 

They aren't the same and could easily affect the price of the vehicle. if its at least under ten years old then use OEM. after that it don't matter.

 

AB has them for $73-$85 depending on which color you need, they say genuine part in the listing as well so I would imagine it is decent quality. I would go that direction and a least if you get and do not like it then you can return it.

 

I bought some several years ago for my Disco from AB, they seemed OEM to me...

 

They are very easy to install. The key is surface prep. I have installed a lot of vinyl graphics and installing these isn't much different. Any decent paint shop should replace the lettering for you as part of the deal. They do that stuff everyday.
