Default Range Rover in my Future

Hello all,
I might have a deal I can't pass up on.
A very good friend, who does very well was going to make me a serious deal on a range rover. I am in the D2 family now and was looking to get a new vehicle.
Here is the basics...
2006 Range Rover supercharged (not the sport model) with low miles ... 50,000 miles.
Are there any issues with these trucks in this year? Anything to watch out for...down the road?
It has been very well taken care of and if the price is right I will go for it.
Thanks for any input in advance.

Sometime in its life, if it hasn't happened already, the air shocks will leak and the little compressor runs itself to death.

I don't have a lot of experience with the sports but from what other owners have told me they seem to be a (dare I say it) reliable suv.

he clearly said it wasn't a sport.

I've heard that the '06 has some engine quirks but it's not too expensive (well at least compared to a head gasket job on a Disco 2 ). Buy it and enjoy it. I have an '05 Range Rover HSE and coming from an '01 Disco 2 with the facelifted lights, it's just a much refined a better vehicle. As much as I loved my Disco 2 (headgaskets blew again), I don't think I can ever buy another one.
