Default Range Rover Size

I drive my Range Rover every day so I am used to its size. However this week I had a rental car (Impala) and ended up behind a Range Rover at a light. My first thought was "WOW, I forgot how bigthis SUV is in comparison to other cars!!!" It was just towering over me with such a commanding presence. With that said it is large without looking ackward and still looks very refined and tasteful.

This car really has it all!

I know whatcha mean. It's almost painful driving cars now... i'm so used to Rovers. Funny thing is they don't seem so big when you're driving or even when compared with other SUVs. I guess we forget how we get such a great field of vision. Personally, I still think the P38 is more refined then the MKIII but I can still see what you mean and they definitely have presence.

You're absolutely right, it is a large car but feel much smaller when driving it and is entirely maneuverable. I never drove the P38 but I hear that it handled very well!

I love the view in my Rover, I have to say that when I go from my Rover to my SL500, I honestly feel like I am driving a Go kart! (but I am smiling all the same!)

I agree about the view from the driver's seat. I had a Tahoe noe the Range Rover and although the cargo was more in the Tahoe the RR feels more open inside and bigger overall. Plus I noticed that when I park in a crowded lot I can easily pick out my Range Rover. It has subtle but very distinct styling and I love it.

Henry, how do you like your SL? I have been pondering (and still am) a SL550... A great looking car but I hate when the large trucks and SUV's are on your butt. I feel this whenever I am in the 911.
