Default Range Rover TDV8

How do I get one? They are all over ebay.uk.co but the steering wheel is on the wrong side...in fact, over there, they have discontinued offering the normally aspirated V8. I have heard they are coming here as 2011 model? Anyone else heard that? I honestly don't want to wait that long.

You would have to import itfrom another country. None have been officially announced for the USbut with the changing fuel landscape and new LRownership, you never know if it will arrive to the US earlier than unofficial projections.

With dieselfuel being more expensive, I thought that it turned out to be about a wash in terms of cost savings or did you want it for another reason?

One other consideration, think about maintenance before you buy one. Meaning, who is going to service the engine. I know that you can find someone if you look hard enough but Land Rover may or may not service the car so you will want to be sure of that.

I'm halfway kidding. I will probably just wait til they come here officially and get an extended warranty. Diesel for me is more about power than fuel economy. Stock this one makes 472lb./ft of torque and gets to 60 in 8.5. With the right chip and engine remapping the possibilities are endless and having all 4 wheels putting it down too!

I figured that gas prices probably weren't your concern with an $80,000 SUV
