Default Range Rover TDV8 won't come to the US

Range Rover’s new 4.4-litre V8 diesel won’t come to the US
although it
offers a significant improvement in economy and CO2 emissions, it's not enough to meet strict US emission laws

I'd rather they not bring it if they have to use a urea injection system to make it meet emissions (like MB "Bluetec").

I won't get on my soapbox, but it pisses me off that we can't get a nice, efficient diesel as a consumer, but we have thousands upon thousands of big rigs that drive millions of miles blowing smoke with no problem. Just stupid policy....
