Rear suspension problem... Please help!
I have a 94 range rover county lwb with just over 100,00 miles. Recently I hit a pothole in the road... didn't think it was anything to be concerned about. After a minute or so I heard a light bumping coming from the back right wheel well. As I kept driving the bumping was louder and more frequent. The wheel well was obviously hitting against the tire. Also, the suspension was going wild -- I was bouncing up and down a whole lot. As I got back to my house the RR was bouncing a whole lot in the back and the wheel well was constantly hitting on the back right.
I'm not sure if this is a minor or major problem. Could it be electrical or might it be the air suspension or shocks that have busted? It seems that it is just a problem with the back right side. The body of the car is really down low, the wheel well is hanging over the tires in the back.
I'm hoping this is something I can take care of myself, or get my vehicle-maintenance-savvy friend to help with. I would be grateful to hear any suggestions of what the problem may be -- from a simple, minor problem to something major. I've posted pictures as well.
Thanks!

Sounds like you have gone into a hard fault. Is the EAS light illuminated?
The reason you bounce around is because you are on the bump stops.
You can diagnose the problems yourself and fix it if you are up for it. There is now free software available to allow you to read the faults and after you have fixed the problem clear the fault codes from the ECU. Take a look on rangerovers.net/forum for all the details.
