Recommended Fluids for 93 RRC
Got a buddy that needs to do pretty much everything. Any recommend diff/transfer case fluids for this model?
Dextron III for trans?
Preferred coolant for this model and anything else that needs to be changed on vehicles first service with the current owner/113k miles.

Here's pages from the RAVE, the factory manual on the truck. Free download below of whole set, includes electrical diagrams, owners manuals, shop manuals, etc.
Note that power steering and transmission use ATF. Select oil by climate, 10W30 is only good from -4 to +50 F, as an example.

No dexcool please on coolant, green is good, 50/50 premix Peak is hard to mess up. Radiator is a copper / brass affair, if calciumed up may be a candidate for acid flush and rod out by an indy radiator shop, can be had for $75 or so, you carry radiator in.
Many owners like the diesel rated oils for extra cleaning, and a high miles low spending PO is a good reason to use them. Shell Rotella is one brand, cheap, easy to find.
20 years old? Just getting broken in. I must say I prefer the older trucks. Parked by a newer Tahoe today, with electric running boards that retract into the body when the door closes. Too much fru-fru....
