Default Remote Locking from a P38

Has anyone ever put the remote locking system in from a p38? I want the feature that when you hold down the remote to lock it for like more than 2 seconds it rolls up all the windows and sun roof. I have no idea what it would take to make this work with a 95 lwb but I would love to hear some ideas. Thanks.

Default RE: Remote Locking from a P38

You could put in an after market remote central lockingmodule with electric window /suroof closureif you want to quite cheaply! (approx £40-50) - or even a full car alarm with all the tricks you want - anti hijacking, auto arming, car finding, even remote engine start for as little as £50

obviously, to do this you need a reasonable amount ofskill, electrical diagrams for your vehicle & a good load of spare time! - so the alternative is to pay the pro alarm fitters to fit a unit that will do it all ( but you are talking £300+ )

I put an alarm with all the tricks, (except window closure!), but including remote central locking & remote engine start in mine in 1/2 a day in my RR no problem!- I could even add the full closure feature at a later date if I wanted to.

I would not get a P38's closureunit from the breakers, even if it were possible! - too many variables that could prevent its operation could be costly & even damaging if put in wrongly!

Just my opinion! - Hope the above helps!
