I have this OTHER PROBLEM with my front passenger door. It keeps telling me that the door is open? Before I would open it and re-close it and the message went away... now it is there all the time. It become annoying when I come to a stop sign or light and resume I get the annoying beep beep. Can anyone let me know how to diagnose this problems or what would need replacing?

 

you need a new latch. its all in the latch

 

How difficult is it to replace the door latch?
