Issue: bought '13 rrs L320 from Maserati dealer. dealer machined rotors and put new pads, got judder! went to LR of Orlando bummer warped rotors: .006 max run out exceeded; 30mm max has 28mm min 27mm rotors; they want $1315 for new rotors 4; went back to Maserati dealer. No lock. Found internal pre sale ro from Maserati dealer stating "Machined rotors"!


Went to FL enforcement and mediation on repair facility; machine rotors not in compliance with LR manufacturer run out exceeds LR specs of .005.


Any help before smalls claim court? rrs has judder issues 65mph. bummer!

 

Have some looker but no helpers.


rotors are an integral part on wheels, without them we cant stop. too thin, don't work, when max run out (term for warping), damages to systems occur.


now JLR refuses to put in writing , that when rotors exceed spec must be replaced (.005 ro), they keep deferring to dealers, dealer will not put in writing, only say the words " needs rotors" and leaves it up to customers.


does anyone have any service bulletin numbers on when to change rotors, on certified cars they must change if under 50% 30-27= 3mm or at 28.5mm on rrs. any help, or we just pay another grand to the dealers! change pads must change rotors?
