In search for a Classic
Hello to all!
Actually I´m searching for a Classic. I want a car to be left in the country house that can be driven to everywhere (literally), forget about problems and nevermind about bushes scratching the paintwork of my L322. Its all about parking the car used for the trip (350miles), conecting the battery of the Classic and using it but for the return home.
So, having sold my Disco 200Tdi a year ago (the perfect car for the porpouse) and the P38 Vogue three ago (that would never have been choosen for the task, too much time unused), I´ve centered my efforts in getting the best Classic 3.9 Vogue SE from 1990-1992 (with sway bars, glass sunrrof and no EAS) I can get.
In two weeks I will meet a friend of a friend that owns a one-owner 1991 Westminster Grey with all the options boxes ticked. 100.000 miles and in pristine condition.
I´ll tell you in two weeks if I have another Rangie at home... or not.
Question: Opinions about the choosen Classic for the porpouse? (beware I hate the two door one, its painfull to get in the rear and the front seat looses always the original position... and doesnt have wood and sunroof, two "must")
