Default Speedometer/Odometer

Like I said in my new member post, my RRC has a lot of problems. The one that concerns me most right now is that my odometer and speedometer don't work right now. I was wondering what the problem might be. I also wanted to know if it was electronic or if it was hooked up to my transmission box.

Kevin,
I don't remember what year these switched from cable drive to cable/electronic.
If you have a cable drive all the way to the speedo you could have a broken cable
(upper or lower) or the right angle drive on the back of the speedo came apart.
If you have a cable /electronic. you could have a problem in a few areas.
make sure the transducer is plugged in (under the vehicle on the l/s frame rail) follow the drive cable. make sure the speedo cable is not broken. make sure the speedo drive moves coming out of the tbox. IIRC the gear drive on the output shaft in the tbox can slip out of place.
