!st time bleeding 98RR
Bleeding the brakes on a 98RR.
I've done dozens of vehicles over the years, but this is my first RR bleed. THe brakes are fine most of the time, but sometime when I start the engine and take off after running 40 minles or so, the pedel wants to go to the floor. I quickly give it a quick single pump and the pedal is fine for another 40 miles or so.
97K miles now and all has been fine since bought it at 56K miles
Anything special I should know before I jump into it this weekend?
Thanks

Yesterday before the rain I was able to bleed the brake lines. Three lines ran clear, the passenger rear caliper ran about 30 air bubbles and I kept bleeding till the clear hose was clear of bubbles.
The brakes felt better, the short test run went well. Today the long shopping run about 40 miles.

Well, we drove the RR about 60 miles without and major brake problems. The pedal never wanted to go to the floor after the Bleed yesterday, but the pedal does not feel the same as before the brakes got soft a few weeks back.
I did not run all the old brake fluid out of the system, just enough to not see any air bubbles coming out.
I would like the pedal to be a litter firmer though, after the holidays I bleed all the old fluid out and eplace the system with new fluid.
Any ideas?
