Default Thinking about purchasing a range rover classic

There may be a chance for me to buy my neighbors old range rover, I have an 03 disco and know the common problems with it but what do I need to be concerned with on an early 90's rr? I think it's a 93 but not sure. It has a mild lift, bumpers, and a winch already. It looks good, it has a small dent in the rear quarter but that looks like that is all. I think I could get it for +/- $2500. It runs good (he drives it everyday) and has a good inspection sticker too. If anybody can point out what to look for or what usually ruins these things, please let me know!! Thanks!!

I had a 93 RRC for 15 years... weak spots are: cooling system, electrics, rear gate rust, check for rust under the carpets in the car..... I had my truck for a lotta years, and it had 218,000 miles when I sold it to a guy I worked with... as far as I know its still on the road.... just be wary of the rust......
