Hi all,
I have just had a 7pin plug instaled on my 00 4.6. for a cargo trailer. All works well untill I turn on the lights, after maybe 3-5 mins the trailer lights go out and the right rear tail light on the Rover as well. Disconnect the trailer plug and the right rear tail light on the rover comes on. Reconnect the trailer plug, all lights will work for a few seconds then trailer lights fade out and process is repeated again, sounds to me like a breaker issue or a relay.But where are they hidden? From looking in the engine bay box and under the RH seat I'm not finding any obvous items. Any help is appreciated,

I have read that the 7 pin connectors are defective. maybe try a 4 pin.
