How rediculous is that? Isn't the point of having a RR that you can go anywhere in style and not have to worry too much about getting stuck? I think these car manufacturers are taking this fuel economy thing too far. I'm pretty satisfied with my 12 mpg.

I have to say 12 mpg is what I do not like about my Rovers. In Europe they get way better mileage due to diesel engines.

I'm taking a guess that the reasoning for this model would be to help bring up overall corporate fuel economy figures. It is no secret that Jaguar/LR have a long way to go to meet the impending CAFE standards for fuel economy.
