Default U0248 Fault

2007 L322 was scanned today with Autologic IDS. Fault came up. U0248:Lost Communication with remote driver utility module. Cleared the fault but comes back after a few days. What could this be?

Default Help me please!!

Hi, I purchased a 2006 Range Rover HSE about three months ago.. It's been running fine until the other day when I washed it. (Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem or not) Anyway, the "Land Rover" Logo is now stuck on the navigation screen. I've tried everything to get it to go off and back to the regular screen. The backup cameras, music, radio, navigation..nothing works. It just stays on that "Land Rover" logo. Now this morning I went to go start the car and the battery was COMPLETELY dead. I mean, it wouldn't even let me unlock it without manually putting the key into the door. After jump starting it, it worked. I immediately took it to one of the mechanics where I live. I just got it back and no luck.. my mechanic says he can't fix it because he doesn't have the right diagnostic equipment. He said he got this error message but doesn't know what it means, I'm hoping one of you do and can give me any advice before I take it the LR dealership that's four hours away from me..?

The message was U0248 - lost communication with the remote driver
Has anyone seen this before?
