Cool, thanks.

Yeah, I've had a D1 before and I liked it a lot though I didn't take advantage of it when I owned it. But I've always been a huge fan of the RRC. This won't be a daily driver for me and I'm very skilled mechanically so I'm not too concerned about much, just trying to learn the pros/cons either way. I'm really interested in this '90 that I've found, trying to get more info. I think he's asking a bit much for it but maybe not. There's a couple that I like out in Colorado as well (I'm in Michigan) and I'm not afraid to travel for the right truck though obviously more local is preferred.

Thanks again.

Cheers.

If your comfortable with your mechanical ability then your set. Id definitely get more info on rovers, maybe look at another one to compare it to, just to see it in person. I had to teach myself basically with these rovers, I had a jaguar xj6 before, lets just say the Rover is a piece of cake compared to the jag.

Don't forget, which ever your more comfortable with go with that choice. The last thing you want is to be stuck in the trails with a 4x4 that your not failure with.

Yeah, for many reasons I prefer the RRC though there are some "features" of the D1 I like. At the end of the day I think the features of the D1 that actually matter (IE Tcase) can be solved. And I like doing stuff like that so I'm definitely leaning that direction. Problem for me is there are no RRC's around here, I rarely see one so I have nothing to compare to. I've owned a D1 and those are all over around here, I test drove one a few weeks ago.

I gotta get a close up look at an RRC soon. Cheers.

check the rockers inside the rear doors and the rear seat belt mounts in the wheel well for rust.

there is a 95 in the classified section now, that will show you the typical rust spot for RRC's.
