can't get the axle hub nut off, damn thing is on there like crazy glue, can't keep the breaker bar and socket from slipping because of how much pressure I am putting on it, put some penetrating lube on it, gonna let it sit for a while then try again, wonder if I should get a torch and heat it up as well?

Heat might help but if you have access to an impact gun you will probably do better.

Well, try to turn it the other way. I cannto remember exactly but I think there was something on there that was a reverse thread. It may just even break loose if you can get it to move the other direction.

well after letting it sit all night i went out and hit it this morning with the impact gun and it popped off like it was a water bottle cap , guess it just needed to soak in that lube. Now if UPS will get me my used hub i got on ebay ill stuff it on and see if it still roars like an airplane

Glad to hear it came off fine. I guess that shows what a little patience and time will do for you. Good luck.

well i got underneath it finally, right where the ujoin connects at the rear diff you can move it up and down and here the bearing at the front of that diff bumping, so how hard is it to replace that bearing?
