Question Wheel bearins/CV Joint

I just took my 03' RR to have the Maryland Inspection and was told the Wheel Bearings and right front CV joint failed. Are these significant repairs and does anyone kmow the approximate cost to fix? Should I have the work performed at a LR dealer?
Thanks

I live in md, too and had to do the same thing when i got my rover. i think i paid between 400-600. can't remeber cause i got some other stuff done also. i would take it to someone who as 4x4 expeirence. the shop that did mine told me installing the wheel bearings pushed their press to the limit and it took them some time and a call to the lr dealer to get the suspension waring light off.

Where do you live in Maryland? I am in Annapolis, so other than the dealer, not sure who would be a good alternative. Thanks

I live in elkrige but was living in baltimore at the time. i took it to a place called international auto because i had my cars repaired there before. but i don't think i would take my range back there. they don't seem to have alot of expeirence with them. i wish i had another place i could recommend. if you do have to go to a dealer go to the one in tyson's corner va. well worth the drive. longer service hours & weekend service hours and better service than the one in columbia, md and 10 times better than the one in huntvalley.

PM me your tele number, so I can call you before you do anything cause this can get really pricey and there are things you need to find out first.
