I thought it would be interesting to hear all of the different reasons why people chose to buy their first Range Rover.

 

To start things off; I wanted the most luxurious SUV on the market. While this is my first Range Rover, I always knew that they were amazing vehicles for as long as I can remember. I never even looked at another SUV when I was in the market for this car as I truly believe that it is in a league of its own.

I can honestly say that this car has met my every expectation.

 

I always wanted one from the first time I saw one in front of a dealership, and the wheels were all twisted, and pushed up, and extended and looked all wrong. I thought what the hell is wrong with that did they know that it was like that? And then I found out about articulating suspension. And that was the greatest thing I ever heard of. And then I bought one and took it out on the test course and was floored by what this thing could do. Do I seem overly excited? I am......... Bleed Green [8D]

 

I have always loved land rovers especially the defender 90 and range rover. I just purchased my first range rover and love it. I plan to buy a defender in the near future. They are the best on the road. I love pulling up next to escalades and navigators knowing I've got the best.

 

And they know it too!

 

My wife really likes the Rover and has always wanted one. It is a beautiful vehicle. We have had ours only a week and enjoy it.

It is funny, my wife really wasn't that excited about the Range Rover when I first mentioned it but now she likes it as much as I do!

So do you think you will take it off road?

 

Probably not offroad, although it is more than capable obviously.

 

Out here in Illinois local Land Rover dealers host off road events 2x a year where you can take your truck and see what it will really do under supervision of knowledgeable off roaders, in a controlled safe environment. It is fun for the whole family and you get a great sense of satisfaction knowing what these things do and that you have done it in yours.[8D]

 

well i brought my 1999 hse range rover just because i wanted a truck and i had 10,000 cash so i just figured why not try a used range rover, best decision i ever made. i have had the truck for 3 years now
