i have a 1997 rr 4.0, and the battery went bad so i got a new but my windows, sunroof and side mirrows wont work? and when i turn on or off the car its says that my windows are not set? what does that mean and i check all the fuses and nothing.

 

with the windows up. put them down and then back up, all the way, without letting off the switch, one at a time. youll also need to set your sunroof, ame basic thing, closed, all the way back, then closed then tilt up... itll say window/sunroof set on the i/p if it works

 

it's all outlined in the owners manual if you have it

 

i try to do the whole holding the buttows and nothing, they wont go down or up. even my side mirrows wont more at all.

 

and all you did was disconnect the battery?? and it was all working fine before that?

 

Do the gauges and everything else work fine? What about interior/exterior lights?

 

everything is working fine just the windows sunroof and side mirrows dont work, and yes everything used to work fine before the battery died.
