so changed out all 4 wheel sensors today on my disco. a little helpful hint for getting them out of the pesky wheel hub. after rotors and caliper bracket is off, unhook sensor and unhook all clips and pull gaskets. pull wire out from connector inside of engine well first.
pull wheel end towards you. keep feeding wire to you until clip on tube end is almost to wheel hub. take a grinder with a light grit sanding wheel and sand of the hub changes/ribs on connector jacket. They will slide right out!
I did the same thing on the new connectors. buffed off the ridges and hub changes. ity will not eat through the protective jacket and will now fit through hub hole. Saves major time with out taking off axle brackets!
