Default 03 discovery radio help please

I have read a few forums with similar issues, but still have a few questions as I am new to land rover... Heres my situation. The radio does turn on and all stations and buttons work etc. but the max volume is about a 3 or 4 ( very soft ) ... I also do not know where the amp is at in this car, could someone please point me in the right direction... I am going crazy in the silent car... Do i need to replace an amp? The stereo itself? Or some wires? What are some ways to diagnose this problem?? Thank you to all in advance, the help is much appreciated!

If you have the high line radio, there is an amplifier under the left front seat. I would start there. Check for power. Also, check the connector at the radio, and the connector at the amp. Hope this helps.
