Good evening,

Just had my truck go crazy on my way home from work today. I pulled codes when I got home and have 0304, 0307 misfire, along with P1300 and P1319 codes. I have read through a ton of posts on here and have found some possibilities, however, I was looking under the hood for any worn spark plug wires and noticed the cable running to the cruise control module was slack, looking at the module, the rubber "boot" is broken and cable is completely detached. Could that be the cause of the misfires in 4 and 7, or have nothing to do with it?

the truck is a 2004 Discovery with 90k miles.

Cruise control components are unlikely to have anything to do with your misfires and codes.
