a few months ago, parking brake indicator lights came on. No problem - just ignored them. Now, intermittently, in addition to the parking brake indicator lights, the beeper is on too! (Driving me crazy...)

LR dealer saying I need to replace a computer part for $2,000. Heck, if I could just cut the wire to the beeper speaker I'd get my sanity back! the parking brake isn't on - is there a solution other than paying for a new computer part? Thanks

 

see if the small speaker has its own fuse -maybe you can just pull that fuse...or just cut the wire...
