I recently purchased and 06 LR3 with 100k. I am having some issues with sluggish start on acceleration and between gear 1 & 2 at times appears to jump/chuck a little. Took it into a shop and they ran the scanner and indicated that it is reading "incorrect gear ration" and "incorrect reverse gear". I believe the code numbers might be these

P0730 Incorrect Gear Ratio
P0736 Reverse Incorrect Ratio

Does anyone have any suggestions, the shop said that they were not sure and that perhaps contacting a transmission shop to get a second opinion

They also said the "transmission fluid was very dirty and looked metalic"
