2000 Discovery II 60,000 mile service
I recently bought a 2000 Discovery II and understand that it is due for a 60,000 mile service. My local dealer (Salt Lake City, UT) quoted the cost at about $750. The service manager mentioned that the transfer case is one of the items that is included in the scheduled service. I'm hoping that will resolve a vibration/rumble I experience at 90mph.
Does anyone know what is included in a typical 60,000 mile service at a Land Rover dealership?

Thanks for your reply, Bait. I wish I had an owner's manual. I bought the car used. It didn't come with one. I'll go shop Amazon for one. Do you know if there are any alternative publishers whose content is quality or at least comparable to the OEM manual? Thanks.
That vibration you mentioned is most likely the front double cardon u-joint which commonly fails cause they can't be serviced. The other item that will cause this would be the rotoflex on your rear drive shaft if you don't have a rear u-joint.
As for the service, that is a long one, if you want to e-mail me your tele# I can run you thru the long list.
