I just took my landrover in for flashing engine light it would flash and go down to 10 mph then once it stop flashing it would run fine . So the mechanic put it 2 new ot sensors a new batterty a coolant sensor plugs wires new air filter. Well I got it back sat the check engine light flashed for 2 seconds then stopped my husband informed me that I should go get the computer resethe is in iraq so there only so much he can do.I did that today again I drove it down the road it flashed for 2 seconds the only differnence this time around it does not go dow to 10 mph any suggestions I have to call the mechanic back tommrow and let him no it's still not running properly I am just getting mega frustured it was in the shop for a week

 

you need someone with LR experience - computer codes should have been read - sounds as if your mechanic is just hunting for possibles and likely has replaced things that needed replacement sooner or later. However, the codes allow an experienced tech to isolate the problem and fix it quickly and as cheaply as possible. Ask the forumfor a referral in your local area (it's likely someone on the board will be able to put you in the right direction) Good luck and thanks for your sacrifice.

Go get the codes read and get back to us with the 4 digit fault codes numbers. Many auto parts stores will do this for free.
