Default 2001 Discovery 2 SE help, 3 questions

1) So every time I turn my 'left' turn signal, all my interior lights: in the radio, ac screen, and dash lights, all start flashing/ dimming like the blinker is taking power from it. Then I use my 'right' turn signal and it works just fine, no weird flashing/ dimming? I know that's not normal.
2) The 'mode' button under the gear shifter? Is that a sport mode?
3) There's the standard looking gear shifter above the regular shifter. Does that put the truck in 4wd? Or is it always in 4wd?

Thanks for the help.

2. yes that is sport mode
3. that is for your transfer case, to shift from 4 high to 4 low, it is always in 4 wheel

Alright, that's what I thought about the mode button. For the high and low mode, I leave it where it is on high for driving normally and driving in snow/ice? The AWD is maybe why it has terrible gas mileage, plus v8 engine? haha

Thanks for the reply

Default bad ground?

1. probably a bad shared ground for the turn and other accessories that are flashing. most likely front left signal ground could be traced to faulty ground bolt

Default Question

Okay, should I really be worried about that then? Will that cause my truck to break down if I don't repair that? If it isn't then I will probably put that off last, it happens every other time I drive
