2002 disc II noise??????
Hey to all, first post. I have a 2002 discovery II that has started making a noise that i cant figure out. It doesnt do it all the time but it seems to be coming from the drive train area. it makes a clicking noise on acceleration at times. it sounds almost a cable tie strapped to the drive shaft. i couldnt find anything touching it and it doesnt climb with the rpm of the engine. it does it with the timing of the vehicle rolling or something turning. i checked u joints but everything seems tight. it may go a day or two and not do it then it may do it 3 or 4 times in a row at low speed, 25-30 mph. i kinda thought it may be the brake pads but ive worked on a few cars in my past and it just doesnt sound like thats it. also i have a major valve cover leak on both sides. how hard is it to remove the intake to get to the bolts. HELP PLEASE.
