2003 L322 Range Rover Fuse 12 Short/Blown
Hi Everyone,
Thank-you for being one of the best center's for information.
I have two Landrovers
1996 Discovery tdi and 2003 L322 Range Rover HSE tdi
Today my question is regarding my L322 Range Rover L322
About a month ago I had a new issue show up with a flat battery after lunch.
When I jumped the car (Using the correct procedure I read on here) I noticed the AC HVAC dash was no longer working.
After replacing the Battery for a new one I had the AC fuse replaced
Fuse 12 that controls heated seats and AC ... The Australian HSE model does not have Heated Seats so imagine this is an AC short ONLY.
I found some info about this as a common problem in the HVAC panels, I found a replacement panel on ebay and bought it.
Today I tried the new panel and it also blew the fuse .......
Darn .......
So I guess the short is somewhere else
I noticed someone answered the question about Fuse 34 here:
https://landroverforums.com/forum/ge...se-help-73317/
However I can not find any info about fuse 12 and how to trace the short.
It's got to be something silly like a fan or a loose wire .... however I'd like to call on the expert knowledge here before I take the car to an Auto Electrician
With your advice and help I will be able to instruct the guy with a little bit better direction.
Thank you in advance.
