Default electrical short blows fuse

Hi all. this is my first post so please bare with me. I have a Classic 94 RR VogueSE that blows Fuse C7 continuously every few weeks then stops when I try to isolate it. C7 controls the Central Locking system,voltage-sensitive switch. I suspect it has a short somewhere around tail gate but can't be sure. Also fuse only blows when I use central locking with key, manually push locks no problem. Anyone got any suggestions please.

If it blows when using the key in the drivers door , go there first (drivers door) the wires do split and crack in the door jamb rubber. and the wire harnesses get cut from the door check inside the doors, first place to go is where someone did work last. did you get a window regulator done ? You will need to remove door panels one at a time untill the short is located, unplug each lock actuator one at a time and retest, process of elimination-, trace and locate the short

Thanks for that. I didn't have work regulator done but a gas conversion done so I'll check your suggestion first and follow it through.
