Check and see if you have power when the key is turned? And if it is only for a few seconds.

 

I think I flooded the intake with starter fluid. I cleaned it all up and fired right up. Thanks for all the suggestions. I was told by a mechanic that the fuel pump doesn't prime on these models and that the pump is energized only on crank up. I'm a new Disco owner and want to make sure it's running correctly.
