Default 2004 RR, Navigation display

Got a 2004 Range Rover here that wont display any info on the multi-function display. Also cannot communicate with NAV ECU or Display unit with scan tool. Can communicate with all other modules and radio does work. Anybody seen anything similar?. We have allready replaced the Multi-function display unit, and it does have power and grounds.

I'm having the same problem with my 2003. Let me know if you found the problem.

last year i replaced two multi function display units for not turning on the
multi function relay, land rover has an rebuild/exchange unit now so costs are lower.
the mfu relay turns on the fiberoptic communication system.
this replaced unit will have to be programed with a t4 type computer.

had a similar problem in my 2004 range rover recently, the Multi Functional Display was not showing anything only bright light. Although radio, casset and all features worked properly.
i was told its the MFU assembly, changed it from a good donor but same problem persists.
on checking out the wiring diagram for such cars, i had a huge doubt about the video module which is located underneath the navigation module, swapped it from a good donor & bingo.... MFD works perfectly, no need for T4 or programing.

Hope my late reply helps
