Default 2005 LR3 v8 help

Hey guys, thanks for all the helpful posts I've read on the site so far...awesome! I'm pretty much new to working on my car and have done only the basics. I started having idling problems with the car not really stalling, but slow to move from stop signs and red lights. Then the RPM fluctuating while driving... all this while no codes, just the CEL on. I cleaned the MAF, which didn't seem to do anything, then a couple of people suggested the throttle body needed cleaning. I went this morning to pick up CRC throttle body cleaner and check the codes again before doing any work and now I have codes P0405, C0300, U0167, P0579 and U0424. Does this sound like just a throttle body cleaning needed? I'm planning on putting in a new MAF along with the TB cleaning and a new filter. At this moment, I just want to fix the idling and get it to the point where I can take it an indy LR guy here in LA for all the stuff I'm sure I can't fix. Btw, just spent $1600 a few days ago for a new struts in the front, new radiator, and water pump. YIKES! Any thoughts, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

P0405 is usually an EGR code, but I don't see that as a valid code for the LR3. Did your tool give you a description of the fault code? Maybe its an error with your diagnostic tool? Your vehicle does have an EGR valve, and if stuck open, could cause your symptoms. But I don't see the code in the service manual, so I don't know if its a performance code, circuit code or what.
These are EGR codes for 2005 LR3:

Thanks for the reply. I cleaned the throttle body, the MAF and changed the filter. The P0405 code is gone but the others are still there. U0167, U0424, C0300, P04C1 and U0167P. Spoke with another technician on here and I've ordered a new MAF to see if replacing and just not cleaning will solve the idling and surging problem of the RPM. Unfortunately, my tool only gives the codes...no explanations. I am having problem cranking which started long before the idling issue. I now have to hold the key down continuously for the truck to start, but it starts every time If I hold the key down or in the crank position. Not sure if these issues are related.
