2008 LR3 Cooling System Bleed Cap
Hi All-
I have looked all over the site and at the free shop manuals and have not seen a reference to using the bleed cap that is located under the engine cover as a third leg of a T fitting. I had my T fitting crumble and leak and ordered a replacement on British Atlantic and replaced it. It's called the Bleeding Fitting. However, none of the manuals refer to it when talking about bleeding. They only reference the main tank bleed screw and bleeding the system with the engine running by opening the reservoir cap 1/4 turn. Just curious why this other fitting is there when no one refers to it. BTW, my low coolant light is still on and it's not low on coolant. I have the 4.4L HSE.
Thanks!
