Default 2012 lr2 oil help

In reading my manual it says 11.9 pints (5.9 quarts) of 5w 30. In researching around I see people say the quantity is more. Does anyone know the oil quantity for the 3.2 six cyl gas? I think my manual is wrong considering the only engine choice it shows is a 4 cyl. Thank you! Any oil recs? I would be willing to hear what you guys run.

The capacity is 7.7 Liters or 8.1 quarts. We use Motul synthetic oil in 5W-30 grade.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a new drain plug washer if your filter doesn't come with one. Most quick lube places don't replace them every oil change. They are "one time use" crush washers.

thank you! I will pick up a washer for the plug. I have 5l of liqui moly top tech 4200 5w30 left from my previous vehicle. Do you know if this meets the specs? I would like to use it if it does. If not, I will look at getting some motul.

I'm pretty sure Top Tech 4200 was specifically made for Diesel engines, but will also work fine in gas. Usually, if you are using Liqui Moly, the Leichtlauf is the better choice.

Hi, do you know what size is the washer as well as the drain plug bolt? I cannot find the size anywhere.
