Help!

I bought this LR4 4 weeks ago. It had less than 96,000 miles on it. I had the local Land Rover dealer check it out and they said everything looked good. It has been running great and I have not been disappointed. However, we had snow yesterday here in Santa Fe and I worked from home and did not drive it at all. This morning the temperature was in the low 20's. I started it up to let it warm up and drove my 45 minute commute. On the way it started making a low pitch grinding noise that was more apparent on acceleration. When I let off the gas it would cease.When I got to my parking lot and turned the wheels left to pull into a space it made a sort of screeching noise that stopped when I straightened the wheels out. It now has just over 97,000 miles on it.

Have any of you experienced this?
Can anyone tell me what this might possibly be so I know what to expect when I take it into the shop?
I did buy an extended warranty but the paperwork is at home so I don't know what it covers.
