Default 2013 lr2 rear brakes

Hey all,
I've got a 2013 lr2 with about 35k miles. The rear brakes need replaced but I can't figure out how to compress the caliper piston with the parking brake solenoid on the back of the caliper. I'm afraid a c clamp will brake the valve. Any ideas? I'm stuck!

Just take a 9v battery, with small alligator clip put power on it on reverse, at the same time take a clamp and squeeze the piston back
