Hello,

Very new here, first post. My friend Kathryn is looking to move from her 09 Volvo S40 to either an LR2 or a GLK, both 2013 models. Now, having sold for Mercedes, I already know the GLK has superior seating, especially for longer trips, what i don't know is how the seating in the LR2 stacks up.

Kat is in her car a lot, and has a few back issues so I really want to be sure on seating before she pulls the trigger. Can anyone help on this issue? Personally I think the MB is the SUV she needs, but she loves Land Rover, so hey, ya gotta drive what ya love right?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Have had my 2013 LR2 since new. Have always been comfortable in the drivers seat. Heated option is nice on really long trips (3 - 4 states away) when my back starts getting stiff. Don't know the GLK so can't compare. Will say, this is the longest I've owned a vehicle without upgrading... I like the ride that much.
