Default 2018 Discovery Tire Pressure Alert

Hi all,

I had a leak in one of my tires and have fixed it and pumped the tire back in line with all the other tires appropriately. However, I cannot figure out how to clear the alert on my dashboard. Is there a trick I am missing? I assumed the alert would go away once tire was repaired.

thanks!

You may need to restore the tire pressure values. To do this, its usually found in a car settings menu while the car is in park, engine on.

Have you driven the vehicle since making the repair? I recall reading somewhere that you have to drive a mile or so for the TPMS to update.

I figured it out. Essentially what I had to do was ensure all 4 tires were inflated to the LR recommended levels, not just bring the leaking tire up to the others level. Then drive for about 10 minutes before the alert cleared itself. Thanks all!
