2018 Range Rover over heating
I just bought a used 2018 Range Rover and after having it 3 days the low coolant light came on. I called the dealership I bought it from and they said bring it in. I began driving it to the dealership and the low coolant light came on and engine overheating display came on as well. I pulled over and called the dealership and they came and picked up the car and gave me a loaner. The car is still under warranty and the dealership is replacing a cracked pipe that circulates the coolant and the water pump. My concern is that the car only has 38,000 miles on it and this seems like a defect that shouldn’t occur in a vehicle that is fairly new. It was concerning that the temp gauge was pegged at dead in the middle, which after reading other forums is common and apparently it doesn’t move unless extreme temp changes occur. Should I be worried about this car or is this common to happen in this late model vehicle?
