I have a LR discovery 1996 model 300 tdi engine and while investigating an abnormal sound which appears to come from the head/tappets we have found that oil was not coming up the oil hole into the valves/tappets.
The car was used very little, about 2 to 3 kms every two week-ends to pull a boat out of the sea and very rarely for trips less than 20 kms since it had an engine o/haul.
Anybody who had a similar problem and who could help?
