I have the srs and anti lock lights on my dash, but the little box under my passenger seat isn't showing any codes. Turn key to on position and codes should come up right? Check engine light was on yesterday so i disconnected battery, connected it back and check engine light has been off since, box showed code 02. Today it isnt showing anything.

 

your '94 wont show any codes at the little black box for abs or air bags........only engine diagnostics. The "02" only means that the battery was disconnected.....if the cel was on there should have been a code showing at the box at that time. FYI...in the future ....to clear the check engine light you can remove the "fuel injector" fuse in the underhood fuse box..leave it out for about 15-20 seconds, then re-install it..
the '94-'95 discos used a "14CUX " fuel injection system, and their diagnostics arent compatible with the newer OBD2 code readers, do a search and you will find a list of code numbers for your truck.
you'll have to do a little more digging into the srs and anti lock issues

yup.....just turn the key to the second "on" position.....and look at the box
