Just want to ask some advice about my 96 disco because i'm having a problem knowing what is the real cause of having a high RPM when starting to run....and my RPM sometimes low and sometimes high but before when i run from a 120kph speed my rpm is only from 2.5 scale frommy tacometer but now its almost 4 of the scale. What should i change or clean pls show me or teach me what to do...

I have a 96 disco w/135k w/ the same problem. I was informed to to check the vacuum hoses, change plugs and check wires, check stepper motor and clean maf. See what this does and let me know. Ive got mine down to about 850 rpms, need about 700

ive tried changing what they called idle air valve regulator somthing like this you can find it in the left side of the 3.9 thing then they try to change my transmission filter and of course new castrol oil and works fine ask them also to check the step up calibration something like that..
