97 D1 key fob

Default 97 D1 key fob
Replaced ECU and alarm because of drive ability problem that is now solved. However the key now won’t function. Is there specific reset procedure for this?

the key fob is paired to an ecu/alarm box combo. In this case you removed the matching pair. You need the software to program a key or to have someone do it

An older Lynx scan tool can take care of that in a matter of seconds or if you find someone with the LR T4 handheld.
