I finally got it up and running again. I replaced the fuel pump and now it starts up with no problem. now its running but not very good, the idle RPM seems very low.

'seems very low'; but what are the idle RPMs exactly?

Hello June82000, the RPM in parked is at 500 and dropping. After holding my foot on the gas for a minute it would stablize at just 500. What is the normal RPM in parked?

Well after adding a new Fuel Pump and Vehicle Speed Sensor. The Rover is up and running like a champ. Replaced the VSS because of a code stating it was malfunctioning. Trying to get a smog check in lovely California, but the ECU needs to calibrate the O2 sensors to become ready. Anyone know of how many miles it takes to reset after installing a new Vehicle Speed Sensor? All it needs is the 02 sensors to be ready and I'm good for smog
